SDGs and Puplic Policy in the State of Alagoas

The course “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Applied to Public Policies in Alagoas” is part of the Visão Alagoas 2030 Capacitation Pathway, an event which was organised with the aim of training public servants to strengthen state public policies focused on sustainable urban development. The objective of capacitation is to provide an in-depth understanding of the Agenda 2030 and the New Urban Agenda (NUA) by offering theoretical presentations, discussions, and practical exercises. The course is designed to equip state officials with the knowledge necessary to align local policies with these global guidelines. By fostering a comprehensive approach to sustainable development, the course seeks to enhance the integration of global principles into state strategies and strengthen local public policies. The primary objective is to ensure that the policies in Alagoas are effectively aligned with global sustainability goals, thereby contributing positively to regional development and sustainability.
