3rd Workshop LabIC Novale

The 3rd LabIC Novale Workshop is an event aimed at collaboratively developing technology and design solutions with the community to improve shared living. With an international scope, the event will take place in Jaraguá do Sul over four days, with general procedures structured into three phases: (1) a call for ideas under the theme of playful public spaces; (2) a call for collaborators interested in helping to prototype the selected ideas; and (3) a prototyping workshop. In practical terms, this translates into an activity agenda that includes lectures by representatives of national and international initiatives, talks by local experts, working group meetings, and immersion, ideation, and prototyping activities. Addressing the theme of "Playful Urban Spaces," the 3rd LabIC Novale Workshop aims to stimulate design processes and product development that seek to enrich public spaces with interactive and gamified elements that foster social interaction, increase urban vitality, and stimulate local economic activity.
