Sobre Noís Sustainable Territories

This event is based on the theme “Investment in sustainable urban futures, cooperation, production, and dialogues in the territory”. It places integrated urban planning at the core and explores topics related to sustainable development and sector-specific urban public policies such as: urban planning and management; land regularization; housing; environmental sanitation; mobility; traffic, and urban accessibility. Additionally, the event covers cross-cutting policies related to safety, climate change, digital technology, and economic development. This comprehensive approach encompasses the productive chains of family agriculture (consisting of 2,800 small rural properties), tourist activities (480 waterfalls and 12,000 springs) in tourism areas, and the future Geopark Chapada dos Guimarães. Guided by the principles of Sustainable Development, the New Urban Agenda (NUA), the Smart Cities Charter, and the Earth Charter, the collective aim is to promote public policies that stem from the community within the territory.
