Cities, health and SDGs: synergies and equity through partnerships

This roundtable aims to foster discussions on the potential of sustainable cities and collectives, connecting them through the lens of health protection while promoting social inclusion and participation. This alignment corresponds to SDG 11. Achieving social and economic inclusion could be facilitated through dialogue-based socio-environmental participation, encouraging urban cooperation and resilience, particularly in the Global South. This approach seeks to explore how cities can enhance their resilience through social inclusion, emphasizing partnerships between academia, society, and governments in advancing the localization of SDGs from the 2030 Agenda, especially SDG 17, which is linked to partnerships for sustainable development. The integration of health, cities, and sustainability is increasingly prominent on socio-environmental agendas, granting people a more significant role in decision-making processes.
