Female leaders for urban transformation

"The goal of the event is to introduce the Urban Female Leadership Initiative (LFU), provide insights into the importance of creating and fostering networks and communities within this thematic framework, and for the development of Brazilian projects and public policies. Consequently, it aims to raise awareness about the significance of a gender perspective and the empowerment of women as key figures and beneficiaries in urban planning and development, ensuring a more inclusive and sustainable urban transformation. The event, structured as a webinar, will focus on the Urban Female Leadership Initiative (LFU), coordinated by GIZ Brazil, Brazil’s National Front of Mayors, and UN-Habitat. Through network collaboration, this initiative seeks to recognize, engage, and empower women at all stages of formulating and implementing urban projects and policies, particularly those related to gender-sensitive initiatives."
