3rd International Seminar on Food Security and Nutrition

The Municipality Belo Horizonte has been hosting the International Seminar on Food Security and Nutrition since 2017, during the month of October, as a way to celebrate World Food Day. Over the years, we have had the partnership of various national and international institutions, such as UN-Habitat, FAO, and ICLEI. In 2023, the seminar will delve into the theme "The Transformative Power of Sustainable Food Systems," featuring a programme that includes panels, classes, thematic sessions, the presentation of experience reports and research findings, as well as a conference. We aim to have the distinguished participation of Mr. Alain Grimard to enrich the discussion in Panel II, which will revolve around "The role of sustainable and climate-resilient food systems in urban and metropolitan planning."
