Mobility and land use: São Gonçalo’s urban mobility plan

São Gonçalo's Urban Mobility Plan is in its final stages of development. The process has been led by the company Go - Soluções em Projetos and involved the participation of the local population and municipal authorities. More than just merely fulfilling a legal requirement for cities with over 20,000 residents, São Gonçalo's PlanMob is driven by a commitment to offer solutions aligned with SDGs and the fulfillment of human needs on a global scale. It is integrated with the New Horizons Strategic Plan (featured in the 2022 Urban Circuit), ongoing mobility infrastructure projects, and the Metropolitan Region Mobility Plan. The event will bring together panelists to share international experiences and experts from various levels of governance, facilitating the exchange of experiences.
