Planning Our City: an integrated and participatory methodology

"Our City Plans" is a global methodology developed by UN-Habitat, which guides and supports local governments and other urban actors in personalizing and developing integrated urban planning processes. It utilizes a participatory and incremental toolkit that adapts to their needs and local context. This event will present the methodology, its components, and its organization into four phases: assessment, planning, operationalization, and implementation, which includes 55 activities. The "Our City Plans" digital platform provides dynamic functionalities and tools to guide planning processes using a methodology applied by UN-Habitat in over 100 cities worldwide. It will also showcase recent cases in the region, such as Mexico and Argentina, where the toolkit was used in diverse contexts to plan and build more sustainable and inclusive cities.
