Clean Air Together - Ryan Hanley as part of the Initiative

As part of its Sustainability Strategy and its commitment to work towards a sustainable future through innovative engineering and environmental solutions, Ryan Hanley is part of the Clean Air Together Initiative. Clean Air Together involves members of the public and the business community measuring Galway’s air quality, where Ryan Hanley’s headquarter office is located. It is a citizen science project where approximately 400 participants are recording levels of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) pollution in their local area. Clean Air Together (Galway City) is an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) led project, in partnership with the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce and Galway City Council. The project will give the company and the community a better understanding of air pollution across the various areas in Galway city and help to develop initiatives to improve air quality in the future. To make everyone at Ryan Hanley aware of the efforts on how the company is acting and contributing to a carbon-free and climate resilience community, we are sharing the experience through an online presentation and discussion on the Clean Air Together initiative and brainstorm new ideas to keep working to our sustainability goals in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
