The event “Inclusion of Waste Pickers in Climate Policy” highlights their pivotal role in creating resilient cities aligned with the 2030 Agenda. We will address Law No. 12,305/2010, the relaunch of the Pro-Waste Picker Programme, and the Human Rights Action Protocol of CONDEGE/DPU. With a hybrid format, our agenda includes an opening ceremony, three panel discussions, and dialogues aimed at fostering awareness and socio-economic inclusion. The event will culminate with the 'Commitment Letter’, symbolizing our commitment to a sustainable future.
