The Brazilian Network of Planning Institutes, known as inREDE, is dedicated to advancing the cause of sustainable urban development. It recognizes that planning institutes serve as state entities with essential roles in shaping policies, facilitating collaboration, strategizing, observing, mobilizing stakeholders, and promoting long-term integrated planning. In this capacity, they play a critical role in local management as part of the National Policy for Urban Development. Within this context, the purpose of this event is to discuss the role of network cooperation in strengthening sustainable urban development planning. To this end, representatives of planning institutes affiliated with inREDE and representatives of other partner organizations, such as the Parliamentary Front for Sustainable Urban Development, the Ministry of Cities, and the Mexican Network of Planning Institutes, will participate in the discussion.
