EGM: Multilayered Vulnerability Assessment Tool – Spatial Assessment of Climate, Urban and Biodiversity Vulnerabilities

The Expert Group Meeting (EGM) aims to bring together technical specialists together to discuss this methodology and tool to identify areas and opportunities for refinement or strengthening. Experts who are working in areas related to urban planning, climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and informal settlement upgrading, will have the opportunity to provide valuable feedback and recommendations. This will lead to improved relevance and value for implementation across LDCs and SIDS. In the context of the World Cities Day theme, “financing a sustainable future for all”, the MVA would also help identify key hotspots of project intervention so that cities may invest consciously in these and achieve adequate fiscal decentralization.
