3rd International Forum on Urban-Rural Linkages

The third international forum on URL, will be co-hosted and co-organized by UN-Habitat, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Lishui Municipal People’s Government and Songyang County People’s Government. The theme of the forum will be ‘Enhancing Urban-Rural Connectivity to build Better Livelihoods’ which will be further discussed elaborated through four sub themes, namely: youth, equitable distribution of resources, rural revitalization and transportation. The third forum comes at a time when the world is recovering from challenges such as reverse migration and mobility, health issues, enlarged territorial inequities and disproportionate impacts from the recent global crises. New partnerships that will be formed at the 3rd Forum will strengthen existing collaborations and expand the network to continue bringing territories to a coherent policy and normative discourse.
