'Cities for All Young People'

UHU(UN-Habitat by U) - Team D, comprised of South Korean college students dedicated to advocating UN-Habitat's mission, conducts extensive research involving national statistics, youth interviews, and public poll to shed light on unnoticed housing challenges among young people. Their public poll initiative fosters youth engagement by placing panels in high-traffic areas. It also provides an easily accessible source of information about urban issues for young individuals. Moreover, the team is dedicated to broadening access to housing support policies via Instagram. They also plan a "plogging" event to instill a sense of belonging and pride in isolated youth post-COVID. These activities aim to boost young individuals' self-efficacy while contributing to sustainable urban and community development by enhancing the urban environment.
