GPEIG Roundtable: Planning Education and the World Urban Campaign

Urban October was developed by UN Habitat to raise awareness, promote participation, generate knowledge and engage the international community towards the New Urban Agenda (NUA). Join GPEIG to learn more about how some of our colleagues and their institutions have engaged with the UN-HABITAT’s World Urban Campaign (WUC). We ask our roundtable speakers to address some of the following initial questions: (1) What role should planning education and research continue to play in shaping implementation of the SDGs and the NUA? Alternatively, (2) What is the role of SDGs and NUA in shaping planning education and research? (3) For global planning scholars, educators, and ACSP member schools who support the WUC, NUA and SDGs, what are practical ways to get involved?
