Nairobi Street Parade

Nairobi Street Parade 2022 is a futuristic-themed street festival that will be the culmination of all the celebrations that have been happening throughout the Nairobi Placemaking Week happening in the last week of October. Some of the highlights of the street parade include a street art exhibition featuring an endless array of designs, photographs and paintings, a fashion show to showcase futuristic outfits and performances including band, live music, acrobatic and dance performances, myriad of games and open market bazaar. The purpose of the parade is to create a fun event that will involve the participation of ordinary citizens in large numbers while using the opportunity to sensitize them on their role in solving urban issues affecting their city.
