Promoting active lifestyles for people in vulnerable situations

Based on the Movimento é Vida report (UNDP, 2017), PAHO's health promotion policies in the 2030 Agenda, and research on territorial planning, vulnerable populations, and the management of physical and sports activities, we can formulate hypothesis on factors that influence the promotion of active lifestyles, by relating the characteristics of the community and the territory. What if we investigate the real problems vulnerable communities face? What if we identify opportunities to localise the SDGs and accelerators to boost health, development, education, peace, and equality? With the Rapid Participatory Diagnosis (DRP), we can identify some influencing factors together with community leaders. We will also present the methodology and invite the participants to reflect on their realities, highlighting the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. For full list of speakers check: www.circuitourbano.org
