The primal focus of the events is to act towards environmental sustainability by cooperation of the society from citizens, institutions, and government. Hence the main objectives of the events will be to raise awareness about the ongoing Hawassa dumpsite rehabilitation project to the neighboring community and the importance of improved waste management for the wider community and decision makers.
