Architectural heritage as an alternative to the housing deficit

Adressing the theme “Leave no one and no place behind”, the event will promote a debate on two CAU work fronts: housing and heritage. Considering that many people are still forced to live on the streets, with no access to decent housing, and that, at the same time, society and agencies find it difficult to preserve our heritage, combining these to topics can contribute to extremely positive results. The act of giving dignity to all Brazilians can be closely linked to the preservation of our memory, to urban qualification, to the appreciation of our historic centers and to the environment.
