The climate finance landscape is complex and many actors are relevant. The Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance (short CCFLA) provides a platform for these actors with the aim to close gaps in subnational climate finance. The CCFLA is the only global multi-level and multi-stakeholder coalition with over 60 members that are devoted to mobilize finance for subnational climate action at scale. Last year, the GIZ joined the CCFLA as one of their members. What does this mean for GIZ projects? How exactly can GIZ projects working in the fields of urban planning, infrastructure and/ or climate finance benefit from the CCFLA? This event aims to showcase the work of the CCFLA, including LUCI (Leadership for Urban Climate Investment) and its three action groups (Project Preparation, Financial Toolbox, Enabling Frameworks).
Getting to know the CCFLA – how can GIZ projects benefit from the network?
