The Heart of Public Squares: Education and Urban Territory

Theme: Integral Education, Everlearning Community and Territory Focus: To present educational experiences to the school community – team members, students, family members and neighbours – and to promote sustainability in the urban public space, using the SDGs as reference. Format: In-person presentation by students in a public space, sharing knowledge about sustainability, interacting with residents, employees, and neighbors in the surrounding area. Approach: Mobilising students, families, and neighbours and raising awareness about waste management, while focusing on the environment and income generation; Strengthening neighbourhood bonds and promoting greater integration of the school with its surroundings; Providing students with experiences to develop skills and habits related to subjectivity, the community, and the planet.
