2nd Fortaleza's Urban October: Making the invisible visible

"The Fortaleza Planning Institute (IPLANFOR), in partnership with the other agencies of the Municipality of Fortaleza, is organizing the 2nd Fortaleza’s Urban October, a series of activities addressing the Sustainable Urban Development, from the perspective of localising the SDGs, leaving no one and no place behind; considering the local context and alignment with the national and international campaigns of UN-Habitat, Urban Circuit and Urban October. This event is in line with World Housing Day, reducing inequalities and leaving no one and no place behind, and aims to address the challenges and advances in collecting data from vulnerable areas, in different contexts. Considering that gathering data is the first step to find the tools to combat inequalities, highlighting this agenda is extremely important for Fortaleza, as well as for promoting inclusive public policies focused on the right to the city.
