Malawi will commemorate the events jointly on 29th October, 2021. The commemoration event will graced by the Right Honourable Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima. The event will start with a Big Walk and Bicycle Ride from the Bingu National Stadium to Lilongwe National Botanic Garden at the City Centre. It will then proceed with viewing of exhibitions related to the two themes, done by different organisations involved in urban and human settlements development. Finally, the joint event will be followed by traditional performances and key note speeches.
