Sustainable Urbanisation in the Commonwealth

As we enter the Decade of Action to deliver the Global Goals, how well equipped are we as built environment professionals to engage with the challenges of climate change, rapid urbanisation, and the impact of Covid-19 and what can we do to have impact at scale? These are among the questions to be addressed in this session, as seen through the lens of the Commonwealth which is projected to account for nearly 50% of the projected growth in cities to 2050. During this session, Peter will describe the key findings of the recent ‘Survey of the Built Environment Professions in the Commonwealth’ and will outline the ‘Call to Action on Sustainable Urbanisation in the Commonwealth’ that has been developed in response.
