WORLD CITIES DAY - ADAPTING CITIES TO CLIMATE CHANGE

The School of Architecture of A Coruña (ETSAC) is organizing an event as part of the celebration of World Cities Day, an initiative of the UN-Habitat program of the United Nations. The goal of this global network of events is to foster collaboration in the fight against climate change, making cities more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. The event will consist of a round table composed of representatives of the local governments of 3 Galician cities, followed by an interview with a renowned architect who will represent the vision of the role of the city from the architectural discipline. The aim of this session is to share and publicize the experiences and problems of city management from an environmental point of view, covering topics such as mobility, environmental protection, industry and the urban model in general.
