The League for the Earth (La Liga por la Tierra) is a group of boys and girls concerned about the environment who have designed and proposed to other boys and girls 10 different ideas for practical activities related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the environment. Examples of these actions are, in the case of SDG11, holding a meeting for boys and girls aged 8 to 12 to assess the sustainability of the municipality and propose measures to improve the situation. Another example is taking an excursion (accompanied by an adult) through a nearby town, forest or park and making drawings or photographs of plants and / or animals, meditating on why some species are in danger of extinction. After completing the activities, the boys and girls are invited to share their results on the “La Liga por la Tierra” website before November 20, as well as with national, regional and local governments to ask them to take action.
